About Me
Welcome to my page. I am a tireless musician and hopeless romantic. My interests are pretty broad and I think you will find me to be a bit eccentric, but not too much :-)
I was born Randall Cameron Foster on May 11, 1978 in Lawrence, Kansas. I am
the product of a moderate upper-middle class family, son of a loving Mother
with a Music Teacher for a father. One brother, one sister, several dogs throughout
the years and believe it or not…cows. Back to my family…My Father
was Director of Bands at the University of Kansas for 32 years and his interest
in music definitely molded me into the person I am today.
I had a great childhood and enjoyed playing sports, and various musical instruments.
The pinnacle of my athletic career would probably be winning the state championship
in Football in the fall of 1995. The pinnacle of my musical career is yet to
happen, but should be just around the corner. <Boy! There ‘s some optimism>
Went to college at the University of Kansas. Boy…that was the best 6 years
of my life. No really… While in college, I spent most of my time running
my own business. I started a mobile DJ business and eventually would outgrow
the mobile scene and move into the clubs to become “DJ Tsunami”
but more about that later.
After I graduated I taught in the public schools for 1 year and quite obviously
it was not for me.
So I moved to Miami to study Music Business. While in Miami, I met my love, Emily Morris and finally found happiness on a personal level. After two years of Graduate school at the University of Miami I graduated in the spring of 2005 and after several months of pondering my existence and doing freelance work at MTV Networks, found myself a job in Nashville.
Today, I am the North American Sales and Marketing contact for the Naxos Music
Library. www.naxosmusiclibrary.com. The NML is part of the independent record
label, Naxos of America. The label specializes in Classical music and is very
into Music Education. This combines my great love of Music and my personal passion
about music education. I think for me this if definitely the right place for
me at this point in my life.

No Date as of now, but we are planning a wedding for early summer 2007!
That pretty much catches me up to this point.
I will update this as more events happen along the road of my life.
